PDR Chiral make advanced laser polarimeters, but their site not just a glorified sales pitch for their instruments, as is so often the case with commercial web sites. Instead, PDR have provided a detailed resource about chirality, what it is, how it can be detected and what effects it has on chemistry and biochemistry. There are some nice examples, although, unfortunately, one or two of the images are unavailable.
SciFaiku is a form of poetry inspired by Japanese haiku. This site provides a nice vehicle for anyone who cares to turn their hand to the art and there are quite a few people who do. The poems are short, minimalist and generally about science and science-fiction topics. Let us know what you think of DB's effort.

From the horse's mouth, as it were. Lectures from the stars of popular science - Richard Dawkins discusses genes, Ian Stewart talks us through math. You will need a reasonably fast connection to get a decent video stream but even without it the slideshow, which accompanies the lectures is very slick and makes for a smooth journey past several science blocks.
