If you are already reading this review then you know all about Reactive Reports. But, did you know that RR headlines are now being made available through David Bradley's sciencebase RSS newsfeed? You can preview the headline updates with the UKOLN RSS-xpress service or use your RSS news aggregator to grab the appropriate XML file - http://www.sciencebase.com/sciencebase.xml. The newsfeed grabs the latest from Reactive Reports, Elemental Discoveries, Spotlight, and the SpectroscopyNOW.com stable of webzines produced by Bradley and makes them available in one convenient package in your news aggregator or your "My Yahoo!" page.

The UKOLN RSS-xpress service also offers validation and editing of your own RSS feeds as well as a code generator that allows you to add an RSS feed to your own website - http://www.sciencebase.com/partnering.html#RSS.

NIST Chemistry Webbook

Not entirely sure why this site has not been one of RR's Star Picks until now, as it provides an important chemical reference source. The site's homepage says it all really, although the fact that it is version #69 and dated March 2003 is a little worrying, I do hope a version #70 is imminent.

Bioinformatics has, according to this site evolved into a fully fledged multidisciplinary subject that integrates developments in information and computer technology with biotechnology and the biological sciences. The site provides a range of useful information from definitions and history to links to biological databases and tools and software.
