'Amser' me this. Why are we so attached to word-like acronyms? Whatever the answer, AMSER, Applied Mathematics and Science Education Repository is a project of the National Science Digital Library (NSDL) program that aims to "build and sustain a national digital library that supports science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education." [There's another one of those acronyms, Ed.] The project will form part of an integrated network of STEM learning environments and resources for a wide variety of learners from grade school children to graduate students and life-long learners.
