Chemistry Education
(http://www.chem.uci.edu/education/
undergrad_pgm/applets/
)

This site provides several Java applets that give you a chance to explore various scientific principles in the same way as a professional scientist might. That is, by messing around with a system that exhibits the principle. The main difference is that these systems are all simulated - they exist only on your computer. They are quite realistic though nevertheless because all the properties are calculated carefully and provide a demonstration of the power of modelling.

Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology and Environmental Teratology Information Center Database
(http://toxnet.nlm.nih.gov/cgi-bin/sis/htmlgen?
DARTETIC.htm
)

This specialized information service provides 100,000 references published since 1965 and information covering teratology (the effects of toxic compounds on and other aspects of developmental and reproductive toxicology). The various databases online here can all be searched via chemical name, synonym, or CAS registry number. It is possible to include limits in the search and to browse the index. DART/ETIC is a bibliographic database on the National Library of Medicine's (NLM) Toxicology Data Network (TOXNET).
